Development and Application of a Design Software for Venlo-Type Greenhouse Structures |

Abstract GreenHouse is a design software for Venlo-Type Greenhouse Structure based on the AutoCAD platform. Design software for greenhouse structures in the current market is unable to make three-dimensional model and complex for operation, of which the construction drawings are also difficult to meet the engineering requirements. GreenHouse is convenient to operate with powerful functions and accurate calculation of internal force. It is made up of three modules, pre-processing, core calculation and post-processing. By using GreenHouse, the modeling efficiency can been improved by parametric modeling, the accuracy of the internal force analysis can be raised by calculating three-dimensional models and the applicability can be enhanced through the output of the construction drawing and detailed calculation results. This software GreenHouse was used to design a greenhouse in practice to demonstrate its application.
